    What Avantly Is Not

    We'd rather tell you what we don't do than have you find out in week three of implementation.

    Avantly is not a POS system. We don't replace or deeply integrate with your point-of-sale. Donation fulfillment and voucher redemption are tracked in Avantly — your POS handles the transaction. This is a deliberate architectural choice: POS integrations are where restaurant software goes to die. We'd rather do three things exceptionally well than try to do everything and fail at all of it.

    Avantly is not a review management platform. We don't respond to reviews, monitor review platforms, or manage your Google Business Profile. We prevent the bad reviews from getting there in the first place.

    Avantly is not a CRM. We're not trying to manage your entire guest database or run email marketing campaigns. We do one thing: manage your community operations workflow.

    Avantly is not right for every restaurant. If you operate a single location and you're handling donation requests twice a year, you probably don't need us yet. When the volume picks up, we'll be here.

    • Can each location have its own settings?

      Yes. Each location can have its own donation intake form, voucher templates, Email & SMS messaging, and approval workflows — all managed from a single group-level dashboard.

    • What happens to my data?

      Your data lives in a secure, Canadian-based cloud environment. We don't sell it, share it, or use it for anything other than running your Avantly platform.

    • Does Avantly replace my existing feedback tools?

      It depends what you're using. For most multi-location operators, Avantly replaces a combination of spreadsheets, email threads, paper vouchers, and third-party review monitoring tools they're barely using.
